Best Quick Smoothie Recipes!

If you haven’t read Best Quick Smoothie Ideas! head there NOW! This post will explain how to create some of those delicious Smoothie Recipes!

I know it can be hard to get your daily dose of fruits and veggies in, but a smoothie is an easy way to incorporate both. The best part about smoothies is that you can make them according to your own tastes! I’ve compiled some of the best fruit and veggie combinations so you’ll never have to go without again.

1. Green Goddess

This smoothie not only looks delicious, but it tastes delicious too! AND it incorporates veggies and fruits! The nice thing about this smoothie is that you get a good amount of veggies (spinach) but the fruits make it nice and sweet.

2 cups fresh spinach

1 cup frozen peaches (or other desired fruit)

6 oz. vanilla greek yogurt

3/4 tsp. cinnamon

2. Strawberry Banana Green Smoothie

If you enjoy a bit of sweetness in your green smoothies, this is the perfect recipe for you. Strawberries and bananas pair together really well to create a sweet treat that’s also healthy. The creamy texture also makes it feel like a dessert when you’re drinking it for breakfast.

Strawberries & Cream Vanilla Yogurt, 1 cup/240 ml. (Stonyfield makes a nice option, but any Strawberry option will work!

2 bananas

-1 scoop vanilla protein powder

-1 tablespoon flax seed or chia seeds

Directions: Serve in a tall glass with ice and blend until smooth. Makes roughly 16 ounces/16 cups

3. Tropical Green Smoothie

This tropical green smoothie is perfect if you’re looking for something a little different. The pineapple and coconut blend well together to create a fun flavor combination that will have your taste buds wanting more! This is especially great on warm summer days when you’re trying to cool off while still receiving your daily dose of fruits and vegetables.

1 cup frozen pineapple chunks

½ cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)

2 tablespoons red chia seeds

4 cups spinach leaves, packed

½ mango, peeled and seeded*

Optional: for a thinner consistency add ice cubes or more water. For a thicker consistency add more fruit. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
